West End: Hickory (Nash County)
East End: Hobucken

The Western Terminus of NC 33 is at NC 4/48 in the tiny crossroads of Hickory in Nash County.  There is no 'END' sign present amongst the numerous pines.

NC 33's western terminus is only about one quarter of a mile from Interstate 95.

The Eastern Terminus of NC 33 is at the intersection with Hobucken School Road in the Pamlico Sound town of Hobucken.  This is also the Northern Terminus of NC 304.  The road continues straight ahead as SR 1239, Middle Bay Road.
