The Northern Terminus of NC 273 is at NC 16 in Lucia.  There is not an 'END' sign present at the terminus.

A view of the beginning of NC 273 South from NC 16 South.  The first mile of NC 273 South is along a former alignment of NC 16.

The Southern Terminus of NC 273 is at NC 279 in South Belmont.  This terminus is just past the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens.  Lower Armstrong Ford Road is the name for NC 273 during its first/final few miles of existence.
