The Northern Terminus of NC 241 is at NC 11 in Pink Hill.  There is not an 'END' sign present at this terminus.

The Southern Terminus of NC 241 is at NC 41/111 in Beulaville.

The first North NC 241 shield is actually found before the route begins.  These shields are found just north of NC 41/111 intersection with NC 24.  About three blocks further north is where NC 241 begins.

Which is here.  This is across from where the 'END' shield is for NC 241 South.  The terminus of NC 241 is also where NC 41 and 111 leave their multiplex.
