North End: VA Line North of Helton

South End: Ingalis

(Matt Craig) The Northern Terminus of NC 194 is at the VA Line north of Helton. It is one of the more quiet endpoints in the state. NC 194 continues as Virginia Secondary 743 after crossing the state line. Matt's photo really gives an excellent example of what NC 194 is like north of Lansing. I traveled up that way in October 2002 and totally enjoyed the scenery and tranquility of the drive.

Here is an awesome view entering into North Carolina. NC 194 stays flat, the road climbing the hill to the right is Joe Thomas Road.
