The Northern Terminus of NC 159 is at US 64 and NC 49 in Asheboro.

The Southern Terminus of NC 159 is at US 220 Alt. in Ulah.  As you can see, NC 159 is known as the Zoo Parkway.
NC 159 Spur:

NC Spur 159 is signed for a small stretch of highway leading from NC 159 to the NC State Zoo.  SPUR 159 signs are not present here.  However, there is one NC 159 shield on the inbound highway towards the zoo.

The end of NC 159 Spur is at the entrance to the NC Zoological Park.
