NC 136

West End: Bertha East End: Poplar Branch

NC 136 for decades had the designation of NC 3.   However, NC 3 and NC 136 swapped numbers on March 3, 2003.

The Western Terminus of NC 136 is at US 158 in the tiny crossroads community of Bertha.

An 'END' NC 136 is not posted at the terminus at US 158.

An 'END' NC 136 sign is not posted at the Eastern Tterminus either.  However, a Road Ends sign is posted.

The end of NC 136 occurs at the entrance to this parking lot and boat ramp to Currituck Sound.
