North End: Highlands

South End: Georgia State Line near Orlando

(Steve Williams) The Northern Terminus of NC 106 is at US 64 in Highlands.

(John Krakoff) The Southern Terminus of NC 106 is at the Georgia State Line east of the town of Orlando. NC 106 continues as Georgia Highway 246 once crossing the state line. Although, GA 246, re-enters North Carolina briefly about two miles later, it remains GA 246 along that section.

Entering into the State of Georgia is not signed as dramatically as entering into North Carolina.

In Georgia, the highway is signed as East/West. GA 246 continues west until it ends at US 23/441 just north of Dillard, GA.
