 The southern terminus of US 425 is at US 61 in Natchez. US 425 is cosigned with US 84 from US 61 in Natchez, MS, to Ferriday, LA. US 98 use to follow US 84 to the Mississippi River Bridge, but it was truncated to the US 61 and US 84 intersection at Washington. All of the "US 98 East" signs were changed to "To US 98".
