US 82 and US 278's western end in Mississippi is at the Arkansas State Line southwest of Greenville. US 278 is cosigned with US 82 from Lake Village, Arkansas, to US 61 at Leland. Once the I-69 Mississippi River bridge near Rosedale is constructed, US 278 is scheduled to be relocated to cross that bridge.
