| Historic Southern Terminus #1 - Intersection of MS 607 and Old Hwy 11 |
![]() The original southern terminus of US 11 was at US 90 southeast of Nicholson. Today, that intersection is MS 607 and Old Hwy 11. The former US 90 is known as Old Hwy 11 because the road was US 11 longer than it was US 90. This is the view on MS 607 SB, which has been improved over the years. US 90 EB went straight to Waveland; US 90 WB went right to Pearl River, LA. ![]() After US 90 was rerouted south of Pearlington to the Rigolets and on to New Orleans, US 11 was extended southward from its original southern terminus into Louisiana. The second southern terminus of US 11 and the original western termins of US 90 is at the Louisiana State Line southeast of Nicholson.
