| US 61 Business, US 84 Business, MS 161, and MS 184, MS 930/932 |
| MS 903 is the new designation for what was MS 930/MS 932. MS 930/MS 932 were signed as MS 161/MS 184 in and near the intersection with US 61/US 84 and MS 555. For the rest of the route, MS 930/932 were signed as US 61 Business/US 84 Business. The US 61 Business and US 84 Business designations still continue west of the end of MS 930/MS 932 along city-maintained streets. In 2006, the MS 930/MS 932 designation and MS 161/184 signage were all replaced by MS 903. Additionally, all US 61 Business/US 84 Business signage was removed from MDOT right-of-way, and the southern terminus was shifted so that both directions end at the same cross street: Liberty Road. |

| Northern Terminus |
 The northern terminus of MS 903 is at the intersection of US 61/84 and MS 555 in Natchez. The weigh station in the middle of this complex intersection has been demolished.
