Cardinal Directions
MS 315 is for the most part a rare east-west odd number highway. MDOT tries to keep these odd routes as north-south highways even though they may actually run east-west. MDOT signs MS 315 North from MS 7 northward to US 278/MS 6 and from MS 35 westward to US 61/US 49. I'm not sure about the section from Paris to Water Valley.

For this page, MS 315 will be considered as a north-south highway from Paris to US 278/MS 6, then from MS 35 to US 61/US 49.
