The eastern terminus of the McLain section of MS 198 is at MS 57 in McLain. Signage of the intersection is minimal. The eastern end of the route was truncated following the opening of a new alignment of MS 57 between MS 198 and US 98. The new alignment lies west of the Leaf River and allowed for the demolition of the old MS 198 Leaf River bridge. Photo by Robert Lee on 3/25/2007.
