| Corridor V |
| MS 76 is the official designation for Appalachian Regional Corridor V from the west end of the Pontotoc bypass to Plantersville and from MS 25 near Fairview to the Alabama State Line west of Red Bay, AL. The first signed section was the western half of the Pontotoc bypass. As of December 2007, signage of the Pontotoc bypass had been changed from MS 76 to US 278/MS 6. The open section of Corridor V from US 278/MS 6 to MS 342 has been given the MS 76 designation until the new highway is completed to Tupelo. The section from MS 25 to the Alabama State Line is proposed. |
