![]() Before MS 25 was built, MS 13 followed a different route to MS 16. It turned north from its current route south of the Pearl River and east of MS 25, taking a more direct path to MS 16. The old highway south of the Pearl River is still open; it serves local residents. Photo taken by Robert Lee on 8/21/2005. ![]() A road closed sign is posted near the boat ramp and the river. Parts of the asphalt-covered wooden deck have rotted away. Much of the guard rail is gone; one piece is left on the far end of the bridge. Visitors have left their graffiti on the steel truss. Photo taken by Robert Lee on 8/21/2005. ![]() The northern approach is in poor condition. Part of the southbound lane has collasped. Meanwhile, the bridge continues into the woods.
