north of the Ohio State Line. US 223 is then routed onto the US 23
freeway, and the two routes concurrently head south into Ohio

| Some interesting signage appears on US
127 North approaching the starting point of US 223 South. For the
first sign announcing the upcoming intersection with US 223, there is a
diamond warning sign in the orange color of a typical construction sign
that has the text US 223 JUNCTION AHEAD. Closer to the
intersection, there is a lane distribution sign that, in addition to
giving the required maneuver per lane, also states which route that
