U.S. Route 223
Southern Entrance: OH State Line, SW of Lambertville, Monroe County. | Northern Terminus: US 127, N of Addison, Lenawee County.
US 223 meets its parent route,
US 23, 5 miles

southwest of Lambertville. The OHIO WELCOMES YOU sign is located in
the median, in the background of this photo.

| Some interesting signage appears on US
127 North approaching the starting point of US 223 South. For the
first sign announcing the upcoming intersection with US 223, there is a
diamond warning sign in the orange color of a typical construction sign
that has the text US 223 JUNCTION AHEAD. Closer to the
intersection, there is a lane distribution sign that, in addition to
giving the required maneuver per lane, also states which route that
particular lane serves.
