Michigan Route 93

Length: 11.3 miles | Southern Terminus: Camp Grayling, 4 miles southwest of Grayling | Northern Terminus: Hartwick Pines State Park, 6 miles northeast of Grayling

M-93 is comprised of two spur routes connected by a pair of multiplexes. The southern portion of M-93 is a 3-mile long spur that provides access to the main gate of Camp Grayling. M-93 then multiplexes with M-72 for 1 mile into Grayling. Next, M-93 heads north out of Grayling along with BL I-75 for 4 miles to Exit 259 off of I-75. At that point, BL I-75 ends, but M-93 continues for another 3 miles before ending at Hartwick Pines State Park.

Northern Terminus

The end of northbound M-93 is located at the former main entrance to Hartwick Pines State Park, 3 miles northeast of Exit 259 off of I-75. The first picture displays the general vicinity of M-93's northern terminus. The second one provides a close-up of the M-93 ENDS sign located there. About a decade ago, the state park was renovated, and the entrance was moved to about a mile southwest of this point. But, state maintenance still continues up to this point today. Until 1968, M-93 continued another 3 miles beyond this point to end at County Road 612, 2 miles east of Exit 264 off of I-75.
