Southern Terminus


The southern terminus of M-49 is at the Ohio State Line south of Camden. OH 49 picks up where M-49 leaves off here, marking the only time that the same route number for a Michigan State Route carries on into another state.

The northbound transition of OH 49 into M-49 is marked by an ENTER HILLSDALE COUNTY sign, followed by the first M-49 North trailblazer.

Northern Terminus



The northern terminus of M-49 is at M-99 in downtown Litchfield.
