Michigan Route 48

Western Terminus: I-75, east of Rudyard, Chippewa County. | Eastern Terminus: M-134, south of Goetzville, Chippewa County.

Western Terminus

The western terminus of M-48 is at I-75 (Exit 373) near Rudyard. M-48 is actually facing east at its western end: M-48 West crosses over I-75 and turns north onto Mackinac Trail. Then, it follows the Mackinac Trail for a couple of miles up to Rudyard, where it turns east until it hits I-75 again, this time at an interchange. At that point, M-48 terminates.

Eastern Terminus

M-48's eastern terminus is at M-134, south of Goetzville. Between Goetzville and M-134, M-48 goes in a north - south fashion, so as it comes to an end, M-48 East is actually going in a southward manner.
