Western Terminus |
| From 1969 until 1977, M-44 traveled concurrently with M-37 through the eastern end of Grand Rapids for 4 miles from I-96 (Exit 38) to M-11. There, M-44 arrived at its western terminus, while M-37 continued south toward Hastings and Battle Creek. In 1977, M-44 was truncated back to end at the aforementioned interchange with I-96. |

Eastern Terminus |
