The northern terminus of M-26 is at US 41 in Copper Harbor. From here, it is 2 miles straight ahead to the
northern end of the nearly 2,000 mile long US 41 at a cul-du-sac at Fort Wilkins State Park. US 41 South is accessed by a right turn at the blinker,
while a left turn leads to the ferry to Isle Royale. (PHOTO # 1: Robert Halonen | July 2, 2002) |

Approaching the start of M-26 South, US 41 North passes by this JUNCTION M-26 guide sign. The sign just down the
road on the left side is a special welcome sign for Copper Harbor.
