Michigan Route 24 |

Southern Terminus: I-75, Auburn Hills, Oakland County. | Northern Terminus: M-25, Unionville, Tuscola County. |
|
Southern Terminus |
| The southern terminus of M-24 is at
I-75 (Exit 81) in Auburn Hills, just outside of the Palace
of Auburn Hills, home of the NBA's Detroit
Pistons. Upon passing through the interchange, M-24 turns into
BL I-75,
which heads into downtown Pontiac before looping back around to meet
I-75 again southeast of there. I-75 and the transition of M-24 into
BL I-75 are joined via a connector with trumpet interchanges at either
end. There is an M-24 ENDS shield present at this endpoint, but it
has not yet been photographed for this site. |

| In these two photos is the progression
of exit signage leading up to the M-24 interchange on I-75 North.
The 1 mile advance exit sign, shown in the first photo, was erected
in 2004. The sign that stood prior to that was a non-standard one,
with the M-24 shield on a black background, and all text in upper-case
lettering. PHOTOS # 1 - 2: Dan Garnell, June 12, 2004. |

| Meanwhile, here are the exit signs
for M-24 (and BL I-75) on the southbound side of I-75. In the vicinity
of the 0.5 mile advance exit sign featured in the third photo, I-75
widens from six to eight lanes. PHOTOS # 3 - 4: Dan Garnell, December 27, 2002. |

Northern Terminus |
|
| The northern terminus of M-24 is at M-25
in Unionville. Traffic continuing straight ahead through the intersection
will be on M-25 East, while traffic making a left will be turning onto
M-25 West. Prior to the extension of M-24 north of Caro in 1998, this
served as the eastern terminus of M-138. PHOTO # 1: David Stilwell, February 27, 2004. |
