After a one-mile long multiplex with M-72, M-22 arrives at its northern terminus at US-31 / M-37 in Traverse City. Here are the JCT US-31 / M-37 and M-22 ENDS shields present at that endpoint. M-72 continues straight ahead at this intersection, forming a triplex with US-31 and M-37 as they by-pass downtown Traverse City to the north.
