A four-way stop intersection at the entrance to Onaway State Park marks the northern terminus of M-211.

Here is a view of the start of M-211 South. The first M-211 trailblazer is part of an interesting sign assembly that also features a speed limit sign and a mileage sign which uses M-68 as the control destination, as opposed to Onaway.
