Michigan Route 199

M-201 >

Western Terminus: I-94, NW of Albion, Calhoun County. | Eastern Terminus: BL I-94, Albion, Calhoun County.

M-199 is one of Michigan's newer highways, commissioned in 1999 along parts of Starr Commonwealth Hwy. and Michigan Ave. (Old US 12) west of Albion.

Western Terminus

The western terminus of M-199 is at a diamond interchange with I-94 (Exit 119) northwest of Albion.  Although designated in 1999, there was no mention of M-199 along I-94 until a sign replacement project took place in 2004.

Eastern Terminus

The eastern terminus of M-199 is in Albion at BL I-94.  When this photo was taken, the M-199 ENDS assembly present at this endpoint had a BL I-94 shield, but no arrow plate to go with it.  The arrow plate that should be there would have an up arrow for BL I-94 East, and a left arrow for BL I-94 West.
