This JCT US-23 / M-17 assembly is
located on eastbound M-17, approaching its western
terminus at US-23 on the east side of Ann Arbor. This
sort of JCT assembly, featuring shields of not only the
intersecting state highway but also the state highway
that the JCT assembly is located on, is common in the Ann
Arbor - Ypsilanti vicinity. PHOTO # 1: Dan Garnell - October 12, 2002 |
| Eastern Terminus |
Here is the M-17 ENDS assembly at the eastern terminus of M-17. This is at the US-12 by-pass, east of Ypsilanti, at a partial interchange where access is only granted from eastbound M-17 to eastbound US-12 and westbound US-12 to westbound M-17. However, a right turn at this signal will provided access to westbound US-12, at a traffic signal that separates the M-17 interchange from the I-94 interchange along the US-12 by-pass.
