Southern Terminus |
|
| M-157, a short connector route east of
Prudenville, has its southern terminus at M-55 between Prudenville and
Exit 227 off of I-75,
which is located 5 miles to the east of this intersection. PHOTO # 1: Brian Reynolds, May 11, 2002. |

Northern Terminus |

The northern terminus of the short M-157
is at M-18 northeast of Prudenville. The first picture shows the JCT
M-18 guide sign present on M-157 North approaching its endpoint. It
is typical for junctions to be signed by means of guide signs, rather
than shields, in northern Michigan. The second picture shows the M-157
ENDS shield assembly, and just like at the southern terminus, the assembly
at the northern terminus of M-157 also features a directional plate
above the M-157 ENDS shield.. |

curve as it arrives at the starting point of M-157 in the southbound direction. PHOTOS # 3: David Stilwell, October 2, 2003. |
