Southern Terminus: OH State Line, OH 108, Morenci, Lenawee County. | Northern Terminus: M-34, Clayton, Lenawee County.

Southern Terminus

An M-156 ENDS shield and an OHIO WELCOMES YOU sign signify the point where M-156 hits its southern terminus at the Ohio State Line in Morenci, and turns into OH 108.

This wintry scene shows OH 108 North as it ends and becomes M-156. The transition is marked by the first M-156 North reassurance marker. The southern city limits of Morenci straddle the Ohio State Line, hence the MORENCI CITY LIMITS sign which stands just after the M-156 shield.

Northern Terminus

M-156's northern terminus is at M-34 in Clayton. On the terminus assembly here, the ENDS plate has been placed in a non-standard position, above the M-156 marker instead of beneath it.
