Michigan Route 134

Western Terminus: I-75, west of Hessel, Mackinac County. | Eastern Terminus: Drummond, Chippewa County.

Western Terminus

The western terminus of M-134 is at a diamond interchange with I-75 (Exit 359) west of Hessel. There is not an M-134 ENDS sign assembly in place at this endpoint. Here, Robert is looking west from M-134's western endpoint at the short connector to Mackinac Trail, the former routing of US 2 prior to the completion of I-75 in the Upper Peninsula in the early 1960s.

At De Tour Village, M-134 crosses the De Tour Passage via a ferry and onto Drummond Island, where it continues for 8 miles beyond the Drummond Island ferry docks until it reaches Townline Road in the community of Drummond, which marks its eastern terminus.

Historic Eastern Terminus (1950-1989)

M-134 has only existed on Drummond Island since the late 1980s. From 1950 until 1989, M-134's eastern terminus was at the ferry docks in De Tour Village, shown here.
