As you are about to cross over the US-127 freeway at the Cedar Street exit in Mason, going westbound, you will encounter this M-36 ENDS sign.

EASTERN TERMINUS: US-23 @ Exit #54, 1 mile north of Whitmore Lake

Approaching an interchange with US-23, which is visible in the background, you will find this M-36 ENDS assembly. The blinker before the US-23 interchange is for Whitmore Lake Road, the former routing of US-23 before the freeway was constructed.
