SOUTHERN TERMINUS: I-75 @ Exit #47A, Detroit

This M-3 signage is located on the northbound I-75 service drive at its intersection with Clark Street. There is no M-3 ENDS signage present. At Clark Street, M-3 turns east for 1 block to Fort Street, then turns north on Fort Street on into downtown.

NORTHERN TERMINUS: I-94 @ Exit #243, 2 miles west of New Baltimore

Here is an overview of the north end of M-3 at I-94, followed by a closer shot of the M-3 ENDS signage. Where M-3 ends at this interchange, M-29 continues on, and picks up where M-3 leaves off. Prior to 1998, M-59 ran concurrently with M-3 for approximately 4 miles up to this point, where they both ended. In 1998, M-59 was widened, and re-routed to end at Exit #240 off of I-94. Since then, M-3 has come up to this point by itself.
