M-43's Western Terminus is at BL I-196 in the Lake Michigan resort town of South Haven.

Eastern Terminus


 
After multiplexing with M-52 for approximately 2 miles, M-43 arrives at its Eastern Terminus at a diamond interchange with I-96 (Exit 122) in Webberville.  The M-43 ENDS assembly which appears atop the new Clearview JUNCTION I-96 guide sign featured here was erected in 2005.  Prior to that, there was not an M-43 ENDS shield assembly in place at this terminus.

This shield assembly with M-43, M-52 South and M-52 North markers appears on the off-ramp from I-96 West to M-43/M-52.

Interestingly, the upcoming start of M-43 along M-52 North is marked by a JCT M-43 marker located just before the I-96 East overpass of M-52.

Just north of the I-96 interchange is this shield assembly featuring both an M-52 North marker and the first M-43 West marker.
