Southern Terminus: I-75, Mackinaw City, Emmet-Cheboygan County Line.
Northern Terminus: I-75 North off-ramp @ Exit 338, Mackinaw City, Emmet-Cheboygan County Line.

A very short route serving Mackinaw City, M-108 is also known as Nicolet St.  M-108, which is never more than a block to the east of I-75, straddles the Emmet-Cheboygan County Line.

Southern Terminus


 
The Southern Terminus of M-108 is at a partial interchange with I-75 (Exit 337) in the southern end of Mackinaw City. Old US 31 is straight ahead, meeting US 31 two miles south of this interchange, and just southwest of the US 31 exit off of I-75 (Exit 336).

These two pictures show the progression of exit signage along I-75 North leading up to the interchange marking the starting point of M-108 North.  As a partial interchange, the only two possible maneuvers at this exit are from I-75 North to M-108, and from M-108 to I-75 South.  Access from I-75 South to M-108 and from M-108 to I-75 is possible via the US 23 interchange 0.5 mile to the north.  Note that the two exit signs featured here are both in the new Clearview font that has become the standard for many guide signs erected since 2005.

Northern Terminus


 
The Northern Terminus of M-108 is at the point where the Exit 338 off-ramp from I-75 North intersects Nicolet Street, one block south of Central Avenue near downtown Mackinaw City.  Nicolet Street continues for another 0.5 mile up to North Huron Street, where it comes to an end right next to the Mackinac Bridge at Fort Michilimackinac.
