Southern Terminus |

The shortest Interstate in
Michigan, I-375, has its southern terminus at Jefferson Avenue in
downtown Detroit. No I-375 ENDS signage is in place at this
endpoint, but rather an overhead FREEWAY ENDS SIGNAL AHEAD advisory
sign. |

The left two lanes of south
I-375 merge in with Jefferson Avenue westbound, which carries a unsigned
BS I-375 designation for approximately three blocks to the intersection
of Jefferson Avenue and Randolph Street, at the entrance to the
Detroit-Windsor Tunnel. There, BS I-375 turns into
M-10.
Meanwhile, the right lane of south I-375 is exit only to east Jefferson
Avenue. (PHOTO # 2: Dan Garnell | December 19, 2002) |

The northern end of I-375 is
at I-75, north of downtown Detroit. North I-375 defaults into
north I-75, which merges in at the interchange. The exit shown
here provides access to south I-75, as well as to
M-3. There is
no I-375 ENDS signage present here, either. (PHOTO # 1: Dan Garnell | April 28, 2003) |

One has to look hard to find
it, but there is a solo south I-375 reassurance marker present. It
is located in the median, just beyond the M-3 (Gratiot Avenue) overpass. (PHOTO # 2: Dan Garnell | March 4, 2003) |

Besides I-375 and I-75, the
fourth leg of the interchange which marks the northern end of I-375 is a
0.25 mile long connector from M-3. This scene shows the signage
present on south M-3 where the aforementioned connector begins. (PHOTO # 3: Dan Garnell | March 4, 2003) |
