About BL I-75 (St. Ignace)

BL I-75 follows the pre I-75 routing of US 2 through St. Ignace.

Southern Terminus

The southern terminus of BL I-75 is at I-75 (Exit 344) in St. Ignace, a seven-ramp parclo interchange which also marks the eastern terminus of US 2. The interchange is located just 0.5 mile north of the one and only Mackinac Bridge, which carries I-75 over the Straits of Mackinac and into the Lower Peninsula. BL I-75 directly transitions into US 2 at this point, and the sign assembly reflecting this lacks a straight-ahead arrow plate beneath the US 2 marker.

Northern Terminus

BL I-75's northern terminus is also at I-75 (Exit 348), this time north of town. A BL I-75 ENDS sign assembly does not exist at this endpoint. In this photo on the right side is Castle Rock, a popular tourist stop which features magnificent views of the Straits of Mackinac and the surrounding area.
