If you can get any photographs of this endpoint, at the I-69 / I-94 interchange in the western part of Port Huron, please contact Dan.
| Eastern Terminus |
Both BL I-94 and BL I-69, which multiplex for their northernmost 3 miles, have a common terminus at the common eastern terminus of I-94 and I-69 in Port Huron. East of the BL I-94 / BL I-69 exit is the Blue Water Bridge, which connects to ON 402 at Sarnia, Ontario. After exiting the freeway, southbound BL I-94 / westbound BL I-69 turn east onto Hancock Street, for 1 block. At that point, the sign assembly shown here appears in front of the Pine Grove Avenue intersection. BL I-94 and BL I-69 turn right onto Pine Grove Avenue. However, rather than having separate arrow plates beneath the BL I-94 and BL I-69 shields, the arrow on the guide sign beneath the shields is used to denote the right turn for the business loops. Note that a left turn at this intersection leads motorists onto the start of northbound M-25. PHOTO # 1: Dan Garnell - September 4, 2002 |
