Michigan Route 83

Southern Terminus: I-75 / US 23, Birch Run. | Northern Terminus: M-15, 4 miles northwest of Richville.

About M-83

M-83, which lies entirely within Saginaw County, is a major tourist route serving the popular Bavarian-themed community of Frankenmuth.

Southern Terminus

Following a multiplex with M-54 two miles in length, M-83 arrives at its southern terminus at a diamond interchange with I-75 / US 23 (Exit 136) in Birch Run. The interchange also marks M-54's northern terminus. However, there is neither an M-54 ENDS nor an M-83 ENDS sign to be found here. In this photo is the sign assembly featuring the first reassurance markers for M-54 South and M-83 North, respectively.

M-81 meets M-15 less than two miles north of the northern end of M-83. Consequently, there is a TO M-83 shield present on M-81 East at its junction with M-15.
