M-85
LENGTH: 15.3 miles
SOUTHERN TERMINUS: I-75 @ Exit #28, Rockwood

Hidden amongst some plants is this M-85 ENDS assembly as southbound M-85 merges into southbound I-75 from the left. This interchange is only a partial one, with access from southbound M-85 to southbound I-75 and from northbound I-75 to northbound M-85. That DETOUR ENDS sign refers to a detour for southbound I-75 along the entire length of M-85 around an 8 mile section of I-75 that was reconstructed during the 2002 construction season.
NORTHERN TERMINUS: I-75 @ Exit #43, Detroit

Marking the northern terminus of M-85 above is, yes, an END M-85 sign. The two state highway termini that are actually signed within the city limits of Detroit -- the northern end of M-85 and the eastern end of I-96 -- are both signed with an END plate above the route marker, rather than the M.D.O.T. standard ENDS plate below the route marker.
