Over the past few years on the Internet, people with interests in highways have come up with a unique idea for a website: take photographs of the endings of numbered highways and put them up on a website. As of the time of this writing, webpages documenting the end of the road are now available for dozens of states across the USA (see the link below). With this somewhat feeble attempt, the Pine Tree State is now represented. If you have a photo that you have taken of a Maine state highway terminus (taken from any angle - even different angles of ends already covered on here would be appreciated), contact me at jpkirby@hotmail.com. Termini with photo coverage have a blue background. Some routes have been decommissioned since this page went live in 2003, they have a grey background and are kept up here for historical interest.

As you may notice, there's now a new design for the main page. Individual route pages will be updated as time permits.
