In the background of the first eastern end photograph, you can see the first westbound reassurance shield for I-516, even though I-516 doesn't technically begin until Mildred Street, which is 1500 feet ahead. The second photograph shows Montgomery Street, the de facto end of I-516, from the other side. The first photograph of the western end shows the first eastbound I-516 shield, as well as overhead signage for an exit "To US 80". This road is GA 26 CONN. I-516 actually begins at the bridge over GA 26 CONN ahead. The second photograph shows the actual END signage for I-516, which is just after the aforementioned bridge. |
