Background Information

The first eastern end photograph was taken on westbound I-20 just east of the South Carolina state line.  The second photograph was taken on the South Carolina side of the Savannah River bridge heading westbound, and the third photograph was taken at the Georgian end of the bridge (note how the Georgia State Line and Richmond County signs are hidden by vines).  The fourth photograph was taken on the Georgia side of the Savannah River bridge heading eastbound, and the fifth photograph was taken at the South Carolinian end of the bridge.

The first western end photograph was taken on westbound I-20 at the Alabama state line, and the second photograph was taken from the other side of the freeway heading eastbound into Georgia.
