| Background Information |

The first photograph of the southern end was taken from US 23/441 southbound. The second photograph was taken on the short road/ramp that connects US 23/441 with GA 197. The third photograph shows the END signage for GA 197, with US 23/441 just behind the photograph. GA 197 used to extend south of this point before US 23/441 was routed onto it's new alignment. The fourth photograph was taken from the top of the hill seen in the third photograph. The zero milepost for GA 197 can be seen on the right side of the fourth photograph. |
