| Background Information |

The eastern end photograph was taken on eastbound US 82. At this point, GA 520 joins with US 82 the rest of the way across the state. GA 50 used to travel all the way to Jekyll Island, but was truncated to this point when GA 520 was signed in the late 1980s. |
