Background Information

The northern end of GA 33 lies approximately 2 miles short of I-75, but there is a Connector Route 33 which meets I-75 at exit 97.  This road branches off of GA 33 just before its northern terminus.

The photograph of the southern end of GA 33 was taken from eastbound GA 38/US 84.  GA 33 once continued south to the Florida border, but it has been truncated to this point.
