Background Information

The photograph of the eastern end of GA Route 10 was taken on the bridge heading into South Carolina from Augusta.  This point also marks the northern end of GA 121, as well as the point where US Routes 1, 25, 78, and 278 depart Georgia for South Carolina.

The first photograph of the western end of GA Route 10 was taken on the I-75 / I-85 multiplex northbound.  This is a stretch of the interstate known as the "Grady Curve".  At one point, this was the western end of GA 410.  The freeway at the western end of GA 10 was originally signed as GA 410, and was planned to connect to the current GA 410 freeway near Stone Mountain.  The plan was eventually scrapped.  The second photograph shows the actual END signage on GA 10 westbound.
