The first western end photograph shows the view from westbound GA 8 looking into Alabama. The second photograph shows the view at the same point looking back into Georgia. Note the stone marker, in the shape of the state, which says “Welcome to Georgia” and has a copy of the old state flag on it. The third photograph shows the first reassurance shield for GA 8 eastbound (it is multiplexed with US 78 at this point). |
